Therapy Month in October
by Karen Karkuff
October is National
Physical Therapy Month and an opportunity for physical
therapists nationwide to educate their communities
about who physical therapists and physical therapist
assistants are and what they do. The employees at
First Choice Rehab are involved in a variety of

Imagine
a disease that combines the worst symptoms of cerebral
palsy, muscular dystrophy, cystic fibrosis, cancer and
immune deficiencies. The A-T Children's Project is a
nonprofit organization that raises funds to support and
coordinate first-rate biomedical research projects,
scientific workshops, and a clinical center aimed at
finding a cure or life-improving therapies for ataxia-telangiectasia
(A-T), a rare, fatal genetic disease that affects
children.

Success Story - Nancy
Quigley!
by Nancy Quigly, Patient - First Choice Rehab
Both
my husband and I have recently received physical
therapy at your Halifax facility. We would like to
commend the entire staff there for their professional,
yet friendly, courteous care and treatment. Compared
with a previous experience at a facility of another
provider, I was very favorably impressed and
appreciative of their service. Please convey our
thanks to them.
