A Proud Participant

Participants 

As a child, I once received a "participant" ribbon for playing on a losing soccer team. I hated that ribbon. I was wrong. Not participating is the worst thing. If you're not a "participant", you need to know what you're missing.  What could be better than "participant"?

Falls are the leading cause of injury related deaths and brain injuries in the U.S.  One third of adults age 65 and older fall each year and 20 - 30% suffer moderate to severe injuries.  Falls account for 40% of long term care admissions.
